Special notice
The cottage is not on a flood plain and in no danger of any flooding at all.
Autumn 2007 otters have been seen again in the river opposite the cottage and kingfisher, barn owls, heron are fairly common. The cottage is also a great centre for visiting bird reserves, see www.rspb.org.uk and www.norfolkwildlifetrust.org.uk .

Wi-Fi connection to a Broadband Modem is available (but not for movies etc).

Fishing
There is fishing on the river and only a rod licence is required, in addition there are many local lakes for coarse fish eg. www.cobbleacrelakes.co.uk
The cottage is at the end of the River Bure Abbots Hall Fishery so for trout fishing see www.fishandfly.co.uk/norfolk. For sea fishing try Kirkspray from Wells at www.safetyboatservices.co.uk
