Drabblegate River Cottage is a pretty red brick and pantiled terraced Norfolk holiday cottage. It has been completely renovated in keeping with its charming character including beams and a 17th century inglenook fireplace. It is an idyllic setting with views across a narrow common, the river and water meadows beyond. The house is heated by storage heaters throughout which run on economy 10 (3hrs afternoon and 7 hrs night). |

The lounge has TV/DVD/VIDEO and a wood burner in the inglenook fireplace and a barrow load of free logs. |

The separate dining room has comfortable leather chairs and glass table. Complimentary coffee and tea are supplied |

The well equipped modern kitchen has a small breakfast bar, dishwasher, microwave, cooker, fridge and washing machine. Detergents etc are supplied.

Downstairs there is also a double bedded bedroom with an en-suite shower room and toilet. |

Upstairs there is a separate bathroom with bath and electric shower.

There is a double bedroom with a king size bed that can be configured as two single beds. Upon request a cot and high chair are available. Bedding provided is hypoallergenic and uses duvets. Towels are supplied but you will need to bring beach towels.

Outside to the rear of the cottage is an enclosed courtyard with a wooden table and chairs and barbeque.
To the front is a small garden, a minor road, then the grassed area of common land and the River Bure. Car parking is to one side on the common land. ------------------- The cottage is now graded by Quality In Tourism as four star.
